SimpleAlert – Privacy Policy

SimpleAlert is published by InforConsult. This policy describes the data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
1. Data we collect
- Account: email address and display name via Firebase Authentication.
- Portfolio: added assets/pairs, alert thresholds, settings (theme, time zone, refresh frequency).
- Device for notifications: FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) token and platform information.
- Diagnostics: minimal technical logs required for operation. No advertising or profiling.
2. How we use data
- Provide the service: store your portfolio and thresholds, compute triggers, and send push notifications.
- Sync: persistence in Google Firebase Cloud Firestore.
- Security: protect accounts and our infrastructure.
3. Legal bases (EU/UK)
- Contract: operate the App and store your portfolio/settings.
- Consent: send notifications (you can withdraw it in iOS Settings or within the App).
- Legitimate interests: service security and reliability.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We use trusted processors:
- Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions/FCM). Data encrypted in transit and at rest. Google acts as a processor.
- Market data providers (CoinGecko) for prices. Only symbols/quotes are transmitted; no personal data.
5. Retention
We retain your account and portfolio while your account remains active. You can request deletion at any time (see “Contact”). FCM tokens are refreshed and removed when you sign out or revoke a device.
6. Security
We use TLS, Firebase security rules, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we implement reasonable measures.
7. International transfers
Firebase may process data in the EU and/or the United States. Transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and Google’s commitments.
8. Minors
The App is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the App if you are below your country’s minimum age.
9. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR), you may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and portability. Contact us to exercise them. We may verify your identity.
10. Your privacy choices
- Notifications: enable/disable in iOS Settings → Notifications or within the App.
- Account: you can sign out or request account deletion. We will erase associated data (subject to legal obligations).
